The process nobody wrote down

Every business runs on processes. Some of them were written, most were carried in someone's head, and both are riskier than they feel.

Ask five people in the same company how a job gets done and you will often get five accurate but different answers. That is not a knowledge problem. It is a documentation gap with a cost attached: every absence, handover, and busy week pays for it.

Writing the process down is not bureaucracy. It is what makes quality independent of whoever is on shift. The best version of the process lives in your best person's head; SOPs are how you free it.
